Delray Beach Marriott

Marriott International, Inc. is a leading worldwide hospitality company. Marriott International has nearly 2,100 lodging properties located in 50 states and 59 countries and territories.

Marriott wanted high-speed Internet access for its hotel guests who desired increased access for additional rates for its Del ray Beach location. Providing access via the in-room television set would not give guests the flexibility or power that they were accustomed to. To solve this problem,we recommended installing network computers using wireless technology for network connectivity and high-quality LCD flat screen monitors to both save space and improve the guests' viewing experience over TV screens.

CPC worked with Marriott to install a device in every room for guest to use to access the Internet. Additionally, they provided various Microsoft applications that were delivered via terminal services and Citrix Metaframe technology. Each of the 236 devices was connected using Proxim networking technology, allowing for wireless connectivity via five access points throughout the hotel complex.
